Two new outlets added this month.  Halcyon is focused on indie music selling both music and merchandise.  They will be taking only selected tracks for the catalog.  Junketboy was put together by dozens of physical music retailers around the US.  The too will be accepting selected tracks for distribution.

August 2008

Just added DJ Downloads and MusiClassics to the outlets.  Both are market sensitive outlets and ingest only specific items that relate to their customer base.

• DJ Downloads is a global one-stop shop for everything dance and electronic [that] will be recognized for efficiency, simplicity, customer service and music range.
• Musiclassics is France’s largest digital retailer of classical music, offering a download store and subscription service.

July 2008

eMusic Canada, Hudson video and R2G (First outlet in mainland China) - These services will be available summer 2008 to applicable releases.

The R2G deal is a major one for indie music.  This deal will represent 253 million plus users on China’s largest digital distribution outlet.  This is a first for indie music from the US.

We are excited to see how this continues to play and to offer our artists the opportunity to reach this audience.
